Retail Area Manager

Our client are seeking a reliable, organised, self-motivated individual for an Area Manager position covering – Surrey & South West London. Applicants must hold a clean full UK/EU driving licence.

Currently in expansion with further shops opening in 2021 our client is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Area Manager to work across all locations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and uncompromising standards, be adept at juggling multiple priorities and will have a proven track record in people management. Your drive, commitment and commercial acumen will set you apart as a leader. A flexible, hands-on approach is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee the entire retail team (circa 20 stores including expansion plans).
Manage and develop direct reports through training, mentoring and leadership.
Become and expert in brand standards and hold retail teams to them.
Demonstrate commercial and operational awareness in all decision-making.
Maximise sales and performance through targets, incentives and leadership.
Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience throughout the shops.
Anticipate and resolve problems.
Understand and work to budgets and other KPIs.
Report to the Managing Director and work closely with the other Area Managers and the wider management team.

Other information

5 days per week – Monday to Saturday (day off during the week – max of 6 Saturdays off during the year).
Must be able to drive – car provided.
Must be completely hands-on and happy to jump onto the shop floor as required.
Fluent written and spoken English required.
Immaculate personal presentation is essential.
