Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns working closely with hiring managers.
- Establish key requirements from the department manager to understand the roles and required candidate specifications.
- Ensure that internal vacancies are circulated appropriately to all employees including those on leave of absence.
- Oversee the recruitment section of our Clients website to ensure that current vacancies are showcased appropriately
- Identify and source high quality candidates through direct searches, job boards and recruiting sites, candidate referrals, networking.
- Manage the preferred supplier list and review annually.
- Negotiate terms of business where required.
- Where appropriate, work with 3rd Party agencies to support the recruitment drives
- Screen, assess and qualify candidates against our Clients culture, values and the role competencies.
- Coordinate recruitment interviews and assessments for both internal and external recruitment.
- Liaise with Office Zebra and manage the video interview platform.
- Record and review recruitment costs
- Participate in candidate interviews as appropriate.
- Own the relationship with the short listed candidates for interview and ensure regular updates and feedback is provided.
- Create offers and close on offer negotiation.
- Ensure strong process compliance to enable the recruitment of exceptional talent.
- Review the recruitment strategy to ensure its relevance
- Ensure the recruitment procedure manual is kept up to date
HR
- Manage on boarding process including:
– Issuing offer letters and ensuring contracts of employment are issued and signed;
– organisation of new starter induction programmes;
– conducting pre-employment referencing, and;
– carry out medical and background clearance in compliance with Client policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure that Probation Reviews are completed within agreed timescales.
- Produce management information reports detailing recruitment time taken and cost per hire
- Work with the HR Manager to provide recruitment advice in line with HR policy and employment law to hiring managers
- Liaise with the People & Culture Manager to instigate new starter training programs.
- Provide out of office support to HR Manager and People and Culture Manager.
- Assist with the implementation of the HR software system, NaturalHR
- Attend probation reviews and other meetings to ensure standardisation and provide feedback where appropriate
- Record notes during grievance and disciplinary hearings
- Extract data from the HR software system to create reports
Other
- Support other members of the People & Culture team and undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Head of People & Culture.
- Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential issues, ensuring that all confidential data is retained or disposed of in line with the Data Protection Act and our Clients policies and procedures.
Description:
The main focus of this role will be to continue to enhance our Clients recruitment and selection process; source and recruit high quality candidates in a cost effective and timely manner. The role will also provide HR support and administration.
Key Elements
To take complete ownership of the recruitment process, while continuing to develop the process and strategy, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency.
The role will also involve supporting the HR Manager with all aspects of the HR operation including general HR and administration tasks.
