We have a wonderful and exciting opportunity for a middleweight interior designer within the high end design sector.
Job role:
- Working with the design director to develop schematic design, based on project criteria (brief), programme and budget
- Excellent communication skills and client presentation experience
- Ability to visualise concepts and explain them to others
- Confident in drafting drawings using AutoCAD or 3D programs, (including carpenter detailing, bathroom detailing and master planning, elevations)
- Sourcing fabric and materials and finding new suppliers
- Coordinate the supplying of all items relevant for each project and the delivery to site at the correct times.
- The ability to combine the creative and operational aspects of design projects, and to encourage and manage a team on site.
- Attend and review site installation of all items
Candidate requirements:
- A relevant interior design or interior architecture degree
- A minimum three years’ relevant experience
- Passionate, hardworking and confident individual who will be able to work on their own as well as with the rest of the team
- Have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience and breadth of expertise
- Knowledge of design trends and innovative design materials, products and suppliers
- Have a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and be competent in creating and taking concepts to production
- Works well under pressure and to deadlines
- Trustworthy
- Excellent communication skills

- Competent user of AutoCAD
- Competent user Photoshop
- Competent user of a 3D program with rendering experience
- All Microsoft Office packages
