Role: Generating revenue and build market position by locating, developing, defining and negotiating and closing business relationships. Sell our clients products to help their clients improve administrative efficiency and provide account management to key client account
New Business Development
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business with a focus on individual specialist solutions. • Seek new business opportunities within your area of responsibility to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities, leverage your network where possible.
• Identify potential clients, and decision makers within the client organisation
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Plan approaches and work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives • Participate in pricing the solution/ service
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Client Retention
• Maintain a long-term relationship with accounts and maximise sales opportunities with them
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
Business Development Planning
• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences
• Provide feedback and information on market and current trends
• Responsible for achieving individual performance targets
Reporting and Tracking
• Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the
company’s sales management system/ CRM.
• Forecast sales targets for the current month of activity
• Provide feedback to support development of existing and new products
• Track and record activity on accounts and close deals to meet targets
General
• Provide presentations to existing and new business
• Work with appropriate functions and internal colleagues to meet

Qualifications/skills required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a sales environment.
• Previous experience in account management
• Excellent customer service skills
• Understanding of medical/ clinical terminology advantageous
• Good analytical skills, able to make sense of data and report on it
• Attention to detail
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively
• Must be organised, adaptable, flexible and a good team player
• Have a willingness to learn new skills, drive change and solve problems
by using initiative
• Awareness and understanding CRM or a sales management system
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
