Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance –

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being the first point of contact for the Invoice Financing provider for their reporting requirements.
• Being a key contact for the credit insurance provider when renewing cover and raising credit limit requests.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure that the accounting records for fixed assets, general accruals and prepayments are properly reconciled.
• Preparation of the month end bank reconciliations.
• Cash flow management by ensuring payments are processed on a timely basis and preparation of cash flow forecast.
• Working with AP team to generate weekly payment proposals to be reviewed with the CFO and CEO.
• Monthly processing of the payroll journal and help suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Completion of monthly VAT returns on a timely and accurate basis.
• Working in collaboration with the Web team to reconcile the web bank accounts.
• Assisting in consolidation by reconciling intercompany balances
