The HoSC&O shall have the primary responsibility of leading the day-to-day operations of the business in accordance with the strategic plan, operating within capital budgets, including the supply and production of innovative products.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, primary responsibilities are to:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, with the clear mandate to deliver cost benefit through improvements in production and supply chain.
• Develop long term operational plan, underpinning environmental, efficiency and profit goals including review of manufacturing process and logistics practices.
• Lead the drive towards a sustainable future, building clear goals for production and logistics departments
• On an ongoing basis, assess and manage the principal risks of the business within operations, developing proposals to overcome these.
• Lead and direct the strategy and cadence for both product design and material research.
• Ownership of the china production and planning teams and deliverance of the day to day tasks including, QC, Engineering, purchasing, allocation of factory capacity and NPI.
• Assist the CEO in developing and overseeing the long term business strategies;
• Keep the CEO fully informed in a timely and candid manner of the conduct of the day-today operations towards the achievement of its established goals and of all material deviations from the goals or objectives and policies established with respect to operational matters, ensure communications, resolution of issues and project development.
• Be available to brief the CEO on operational matters for review in advance of meetings of the Board.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in supply chain management including China manufacturing
• Significant experience in change management with track record in delivering supply chain efficiency
• Experience in supplier management and RFQ processes.
• Results oriented and commercially aware, with focus on profitability
• Ability to represent at senior level with both customer and supplier base
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
